MATT WALSH

Matt Walsh is an entertainer, entrepreneur, and creative director based in Orlando, Florida, with over a decade of experience in live entertainment, studio production, and visual media.

Matt’s creative work commenced at a young age. By the age of eight, he was known among his classmates for drawing popular cartoon characters with unusual accuracy. He later began creating original characters and experimenting with 2D animation and early CGI, achieving recognition for several creative projects during middle school. At 14, his path shifted unexpectedly.

Despite having no dance training, no rhythm, and little knowledge of Michael Jackson beyond his passing, Matt gave in to repeated requests from his peers to perform “Billie Jean” at his 8th-grade dance. What began as a reluctant performance quickly changed the direction of his life. Within two weeks, he received his first paid booking, beginning a professional tribute career that eventually carried him across Florida and later across the country.

In high school, Matt trained in Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet, and Modern dance through one of the nation’s top-ranking dance programs, developing the technical foundation required for the work he had unexpectedly stepped into. He later attended Stetson University, where he studied Theatre Arts with a focus on acting, directing, and stage design. At 19, he left Stetson to pursue music and production full-time, investing in his own recording studio to develop his work independently.

From 2019 to 2022, Matt worked across several areas of production, including:

• Executive production and mixing for music projects
• Music video and corporate video direction
• Session vocals and background vocals for music and radio projects
• Radio voiceover production

In 2024, Matt relaunched his flagship Michael Jackson Tribute Show as part of its 10th-anniversary tour, denoting a decade since his professional career in live entertainment began. The show continued to tour nationally, appearing at private events, corporate functions, luxury venues, and staged productions across major U.S. markets.

Today, Matt’s work spans live performance, studio production, creative direction, and event entertainment. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, his concentration remains on disciplined presentation, strong production values, and building work that reflects the full range of his creative background.
